Same imp.Different toolkit.
PurpleImp.IT is the infrastructure and security side of Purple Imp, a digital agency in Dundee. Same people, same straight answers, pointed at the parts that have to keep running.
Who we are
Purple Imp has been building and running things on the internet for 25 years. Somewhere in there, looking after the servers, the email and the security stopped being a side effect of building websites and became a job of its own. That job is this.
We run more than 130 live websites on our own servers, with the DNS, mail and security that go with them. It means the work we do for you is the work we do for ourselves, on the same equipment, with the same tools.

How we work
No jargon
You get told what we found in words you can repeat to a colleague. If we ever hide behind an acronym, push back and we will try again.
Real humans
The person who replies is the person doing the work. No ticket carousel, no first-line script, no being asked to turn it off and on again by someone reading a flowchart.
Your stuff stays yours
Accounts in your name where that is possible, credentials handed over when you ask, and a clean handover if you ever leave. Lock-in is not a business model we like.
